Rutland Outdoor Education centre

Courses and activities that offer flexibility by running at various times throughout the year

Weekdays 7.30 am - 6 pm:

Does your child love outdoors and animals? We could be the nursery for you!

We are a Forest School nursery based at Wing hall with access to farm and forest school.

We open 7:30am till 6pm Monday to Friday, 48 weeks of the year! Children can spend full days at the farm and forest school getting hands on! All included in funding (extra hours at cost)

We also offer 'Farm visits' where you can bring groups or classes of children to visit the farm and learn about how the farm operates and of course meet our animals: Contact Admin@roec.co.uk

‘Animal and nature-assisted therapeutic encounters and interventions’
Many people will find themselves in a position where they need to seek out professional therapeutic help and support at some point in their life.

We offer bespoke 1-2-1 and small group sessions, working with schools, LAs and others to support learners with a range of needs. We work with learners whom attending school may be a barrier as well as supporting the curriculum needs of children and young adults from across the board, of both SEND and complex needs. We are Ofsted Registered.

Thursday Afternoon: Thursdays 1pm - 2.30 pm

Come & join our Rutland Ducklings pre-school group! : Weekdays 10 am-11.30

Rutland Ducklings Farm & Forest school offer a chance to interact with our Farm animals lambs, chickens, baby goats (kids), and Pongo the Shetland pony.

Half Term & Summer Holidays: Weekdays 9am - 3.30 pm

We offer themed days to capture your child’s imagination and guarantee them a memorable school holiday, Bushcraft, Pony Day, Farm & Forest School, Camp Fire Cooking, Water Splash & Minecraft
We will be be running holiday club during Easter holidays, May half term, summer holiday and October half term!

Students can immerse themselves in nature and experience hands-on learning. Our centre provides a unique opportunity for school groups to embark on residential stays where they can explore the natural environment, learn about sustainable farming practices, and develop essential life skills.
