Welcome to Rutland Outdoor Education Centre
We are based on a working farm in rural Rutland where we combine outstanding outdoor teaching and learning with day-to-day life on the farm.
Within our team of staff, we have nearly 20 years’ experience of farming and over 15 years’ experience in delivering outdoor education in the local area. We aim to offer amazing learning experiences to all ages, from our pre-school aged children all the way up to our adult groups and everyone in between!

Therapy & Residential Courses
Adult therapy provides animal and nature-assisted therapeutic encounters and interventions and residential courses allow students of all ages to immerse themselves in nature and experience hands-on learning.
Kind words
Students can immerse themselves in nature and experience hands-on learning. Our centre provides a unique opportunity for school groups to embark on residential stays where they can explore the natural environment, learn about sustainable farming practices, and develop essential life skills. Meet The Farm Animals, Feed and Learn how we care for them.
