Working outdoors and with animals can be a wonderful and exciting way into a therapeutic process, as it invites you be in the moment, think on your feet, explore your edges and embrace the unknown!
Our therapist will work with you to identify any goals or changes you would like to make and weave together different modalities, approaches and interventions to help you achieve them. These can include:

  • Mindfulness approaches
  • Integrative therapy
  • Coaching
  • Embodiment and movement practices
  • Equine and animal-assisted learning /therapy
  • Nature based practices

Through this process, you can gain a greater sense of clarity and develop new ways of being and coping to support you to put things into context and move forward with confidence.

Our therapist Tracey has been working in the field of mental health and wellbeing since qualifying as an integrative therapist in 2006. She has gained experience working in schools, youth services, specialist alcohol services and local Authority and criminal justice settings.
A certified Wild Therapist and Trust Technique Practitioner ® Tracey has her own private practice and has been taking therapy ‘outside of the room’ since 2018.

What next?

If you have any concerns or worries about working outdoors or with animals, these can be discussed at our initial contact.
To determine whether this approach is best suited to you and your current needs, an initial assessment will be carried out prior to any offer of ongoing sessions.
Tracey will be running sessions here at ROEC on Mondays. These can be weekly or fortnightly – depending on availability and your individual needs.
All therapeutic work undertaken is client led and trauma – informed.
